Job Description:

The Play-by-Play Announcer will be responsible for providing live commentary during hockey games, accurately describing the action on the ice, and providing insightful analysis. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of hockey, excellent verbal communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging and exciting atmosphere for our viewers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide live play-by-play commentary during hockey games, accurately describing the action on the ice.
• Work closely with the production team to prepare for broadcasts, including researching teams and players.
• Provide insightful analysis and context to enhance the viewer's understanding and enjoyment of the game.
• Engage with viewers through various platforms, including social media.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and enthusiasm throughout broadcasts.
• Participate in promotional activities and events as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sports broadcasting, specifically as a play-by-play announcer for hockey games.
• Deep knowledge of hockey, including rules, strategies, and players.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to describe fast-paced action clearly and accurately.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong research and preparation skills.
• Proficiency in using social media platforms.
